Does starting and stopping drain a battery faster?
Batteries last longer when you stop and start - you actually get better mileage when the vehicles is stopping and starting as opposed to driving at sustained high speed.
Does the scooter noticeably slow down and have a loss of power as the battery power dies, or does it just die?.
If the capacity goes down the user will get a message ¡°LOW BATTERY¡±. When this message display the user can drive around 5-7 km and the maximum power is limited to 20 Amps. Best method is to watch the voltage indication of the speedometer. If the voltage is less than 47.5V during drive the distance will be approx. 10-15 km. There is no warning sound
Can you confirm if the wheels are immersed in water they will be OK.
- Yes it is possible up to the height of the axles.
Do you offer paint as a spare part¡for bike touch ups?
Aren¡¯t we just exchanging tailpipe emissions for smoke stack emissions from power plants?
Statistics verified by experts on the California Air Resources Board indicate that an NEV charged in California, where clean-air standards are tougher on power plants, is more than six-times cleaner than a gas vehicle when it comes to carbon-dioxide emissions and many times that for nitrous oxide. When charged at an average location in the US, NEVs still produce three times less carbon dioxide.
What about Hybrid Vehicles?
Hybrids have a part to play in improving fuel economy compared to conventional vehicles, but they too, have 3 major drawbacks;
- Hybrid vehicles are as complex to service, as conventional vehicles (comprising approximately 300 moving parts).
- All the energy hybrids use comes from the fuel that you pump into the tank,. It's much easier to power a pure EV from zero carbon, renewable energy sources.
- Due to the fact you are generating power by burning petrol or diesel in your hybrid, exhaust gases are still being generated.
What is a Silicon Battery?
One of the most exciting development in batteries to date is the new silicon battery. Based on an electrolyte of liquid low sodium silicate compound, the battery can operate normally in extreme temperatures from -50 deg C to +60 deg C The silicon battery has a higher charge density per kilogram than traditional lead acid batteries, with twice the life (up to 400 full recycles) making this new power pack the most versatile high capacity, high current drain, medium cost and ecologically friendly battery pack available today.
The new silicon battery's main advantages are - high capacity, high current output, rapid recharge time, low temperature performance, long life span, and recyclable environmental-friendliness. Finally, the most compelling argument to utilise this new battery is its ability to be rapidly re-charged with no long term damage to the battery. The new silicon battery is capable of producing a charge from flat to 90% capacity in less than 2 hours
